CMRM Offers Prayers for Cyclone Victims in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi

The Claremont Main Road Masjid (CMRM) offers commiseration and prayers for affected communities in neighbouring Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi, following the devastating cyclone that made landfall on Sunday 17 March 2019. It is estimated that more than 1000 people may have been killed and up to a million more have been displaced, with acres of land and homes submerged under water.

We pray that God, the Lord of Compassion, grants the affected communities in all three countries sabr and perseverance at this traumatic time as they try to rebuild their homes, towns and cities.

We call on our congregation to remember the cyclone victims in their daily prayers at this time. We also call on everyone to support disaster relief organization Gift of the Givers [http://www.giftofthegivers.org/contribute] in their quest to bring relief in response to this natural disaster.
