CMRM Offers Prayers for People of Indonesia
The Claremont Main Road Masjid (CMRM) offers its solidarity, condolences and prayers for the people of Indonesia, following the tsunami and earthquake that struck the island of Sulawesi and devastated parts of the Indonesian city of Palu. We ask God, the Lord of Compassionate Mercy, to grant the scores of people who have died in this disaster, salvation in the hereafter, and a full and speedy recovery to thousands of others who have been maimed and displaced.
We call on our congregation to remember the people of Indonesia in their daily prayers at this time. We shall offer a special prayer for the victims, their families and loved ones during our upcoming jumu`ah congregational service on Friday 5 October 2018. We also call on everyone to support organizations doing disaster relief responses such as Islamic Relief and Save the Children. See here:
We pray that God, the Lord of Compassion and Mercy, grants the people of Indonesia sabr and perseverance at this difficult time as they mourn the deceased victims, heal their wounds and try to rebuild their homes.
